Answer:  Yes! Power Broker integrates with Windows and Office XP.

Please continue reading some of the comments, settings, and notes that we have recently discovered with the integration of these 2
new Microsoft software components.

April 15 - 2002  Build 21
After installing Windows XP, Power Broker screens have a white tinge to them.  To change this, open Power Broker, and then choose Tables, User Preferences, More Settings and set the background to Windows XP by choosing "Y" in the space provided.
 
Ntvdm is displayed when two or more Power Broker's are open.  Ntvdm menu selection would be displayed on the Windows menu bar at the bottom of your screen between Start and your Windows clock.  You can change this by "Right clicking" over the toolbar and going to properties, and to uncheck the "Group similar programs" option.

One of our clients reported that using Windows XP and Norton "Email" virus option enabled stopped information from being uploaded during the send and receive procedure.  The customer disabled the "Email" virus scan, tried the send and receive again, and everything went fine.

 
 
Power Broker Office XP Word integration

Power Broker Office XP Word Integration presently (build 20) will not allow you to chose a printer selection when printing a word document from a customer/policy.  The document prints to your default printer.

In some cases, some offices have multi tray printers and need to change the location of the print job.

These new templates will be included in build 21 or please download the .exe file from the link below and this will allow you to choose the printer you wish.

This file should be downloaded to 'C:\ My Documents' or C:\ application download folder.  Once this file is downloaded, launch the file, and ensure that you ask it to extract to the server\bro\word97 folder.

VERY IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING!

You will then need to recreate all of the templates you use to use.  Duplicating this form will not work.  You do have the option of opening your old template document, highlighting the "TEXT" in this document and copying it to your new template.

These new templates will be included in Build 21.  This document has been setup incase you have upgraded to Windows XP/ Office XP and need to print to a specific printer.
