Here are a few operations this file includes:                                   

1)  The Release Locked Files utility uses the ATTRIB feature that unlocks files. 
Locked files could generate problems when running upgrades/Pack and Re-Index/Foxfix ect.

2)  Upgrade Completion Check verifies whether or not your upgrade has successfully completed. 
If not, it removes unfinished upgrade files and asks you to redo your upgrade (launch setup.exe).

3)  The Foxfix/Fix Corrupted Databases utility analyzes the integrity of your databases.

4)  Maintenance/Pack and Re-Index utility cleans up non-essential junk files in your Power Broker software.  It then prepares Power Broker to run a Pack and Re-index once you choose Step 5.

5)  Step 5 Launches Power Broker and runs the Pack and Re-Index.  

Installation Instructions:

1)  Download and Save PBMech.exe to your workstation or server  (C:\MyDocuments as an example). 
2)  When you run PBMech.exe, ensure you Browse to the \BRO folder on your SERVER
3)  Once installed, go to Start, Programs, Power Broker PBMech Utility, and choose PBMech
4)  Read and complete from steps 1 to 5 and then Exit the utility.
