Faxing Integration Instructions

Emailing Integration! Demo Version Click here

June 20, 2003 Update:  One broker reported that they tried faxing from Power Broker to their faxing software without the assistance of PDF Factory, and had great success with this integration.

Should your attempt to go directly from Power Broker to your faxing software not work, please try the following solution:

Software Needed:

1)  POWER BROKER

2)  Most Faxing Software

3)  PDF FACTORY

The integration between these 3 software programs will give you the capability of faxing letters, applications and many other such items to your clients fax machine

Disclaimer:
This integration has only been tested by Power Broker customers and not the Power Broker technical support department. We recommend that the pdf Factory software demo be download and tested using  your own faxing software prior to purchasing this independent software program.  Power Broker is not responsible should the 3 programs not integrate successfully nor are we responsible for supporting the pdf Factory software program.

Here is an example of this integrated feature once PDF Factory is downloaded and installed:

Broker ABC Insurance would like to fax a Forms Generator letter to a client.

Please follow these steps:

1)  Customers
2)  Customers and Prospects
3)  Forms
4)  Forms Generator
5)  Choose a blank letter (or any form) and type the letter/message you wish to send to your client
6)  Tailor this document to your specifications, then print.
7)  Once the Print option box opens, choose the FinePrint pdfFactory in your printer selection field and click OK.

8)    Click on the FinePrint pdfFactory "View PDF" button.

9)    Choose File, then Print, and then select your faxing software.

10)  Complete the information and procedures you usually need to send a fax using your faxing software.

POWER BROKER will save the letter to your customers abeyance screen

POWER BROKER will
NOT keep a recorded log that you faxed this client.

You could however create a form called "faxedout" that will indicate that you sent a clients document using your faxing software.

Tech tip:
It has been reported that printing a test page using your printer software once pdf Factory has been installed may increase the chance of a successful working integration between the three software programs.
