Minimum Hardware Requirements


Workstations:

Power Broker 3.X for Windows will operate with the following operating systems:


Windows 98 
Windows 98 SE 
Windows ME 
Windows NT 4.0 Workstation
Windows 2000 Professional 
Windows XP Home (Not supported by Mastercom - VPN connectivity)
Windows XP Professional - 32 Bit only

In order to use Power Broker to the best of its ability, the following hardware requirements must be met:

Computer:

Laser Printer

HP III compatible with 4MB Memory

Modem:

Hayes Compatible

28.8 kbs or Faster

Servers:

Power Broker 3.X for Windows will function on networks when installed on the following systems:

Windows NT 4.0 Server
Windows 2000 Server
Windows XP Professional - 32 Bit only
Windows 2003 Server - 32 Bit only
Novell - (please refer to the Technical Bulletins section for known issues with  Novell.)
 

The hardware requirements will vary depending on the selected Network Operating System.
Consult with Operating System documentation for minimum hardware requirements.

Zycomp Systems recommends that users Purchase NT Server, rather than purchasing Novell server.
