Internal Inconsistency Errors / Use of Transgressed Handle Error


SUMMARY

While using POWER BROKER, for Windows, some users have reported receiving Internal 'Inconsistency Errors / Use of Transgressed Handle Error. 

This error is not a system wide error, and usually is isolated to a single PC on a network.

Resolution

ZYCOMP SYSTEMS has confirmed with Microsoft that this error does occur under certain conditions with isolated PC's on a network. 

The exact source of this error is currently unknown.

Adding the following lines in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file of effected PC only -

SET FOXPROW = -SAVEREGS
SET BROW = -SAVEREGS

While all users are not running POWER BROKER, delete the following two files from the \BRO directory.

FOXUSER.DBF
FOXUSER.FPT
