MailChimp:

As of Power Broker Version 4.14, release date May 2014 Power Broker offers free integration with MailChimp software. See World Wide Web for information on MailChimp software.
The Power Broker MailChimp integration allows you to create various email campaign lists to be saved as CSV files and used by the MailChimp software.
There is no setup required within Power Broker for MailChimp integration. All CSV files will be saved to the BRO\Mailchimp folder by default. The Mailchimp folder will be automatically created as part of the PB4.14 update.

Brovada - NexCenter Integration:

Power Broker version 4.0 introduces an even greater dynamic integration with Brovada Technologies NexCenter SEMCI solution. Once NexCenter has been installed on the local workstation hard drive and it's location has been identified on the User Preferences screen, the NexCenter integration is automatically enabled. NexCenter may be launched from the Power Broker Home Page, from any Policy Screen or any Policy Browse Grid. Complete Policy information is transferred to the Insurance Companies Web Portal and you are placed onto that Web Portal site. Operations in Power Broker may proceed as normal, independent from NexCenter activities. Any files, images or screen shots that are saved while working on the Insurance Company Web Portals are transferred back to Power Broker and they are saved into the Power Broker IMAGES folder on your File Server and individual entries are made in the Customer's Abeyance / Documents screen that both annotate and link to the entry. Any number of entries can be saved back to Power Broker during a NexCenter session.

Examples of the types of entries that you may save images of include:
Policy Inquiry; Billing Inquiry; Claim Inquiry; Quote; New Business; Renewal; Endorsement; Cancellations; etc. The Image Attachment option must be purchased from Zycomp Systems to enable this feature of Nexisys integration.

The entire integration and file transfer is accomplished without user input or intervention.

There is no charge for NexiSys Integration.

Applied Rating Services®:

POWER BROKER offers both 2-way and one-way (push technology) integration capabilities with Applied Rating Services.

2-way integration is where you export the existing policy information into the Applied Rating Services Software; obtain a quote and have it write back into Power Broker without having to re-key the information. The integration program transfers the customer and policy data back and forth between Power Broker and Applied Rating Services.

With one-way integration you start a brand-new customer quote in Applied Rating Services, then push the quote back into Power Broker as a new Customer and Policy without having to first do any setup entries in Power Broker. These integration features eliminate redundant, time-consuming double data entry and in the process also eliminate data entry errors that occur when duplicating effort

PowerQuote® Rating:

POWER BROKER offers both two way “round robin” and one way “push” integration capabilities with PowerQuote®. This means that you can take the existing policy information, merge it over into the PowerQuote® software, obtain a quote and then write it back into Power Broker without having to re-key the information. Or it means that you may start a brand-new customer quote in PowerQuote®, and then push the quote back into Power Broker as a new Customer and Policy without having to first do any setup entries in Power Broker. These features eliminate redundant, time-consuming double data entry and in the process also eliminate data entry errors that occur when duplicating effort.

The Power Broker Premium Financing software allows the broker to maintain records for premiums financed by the broker. On a regular basis (e.g.: monthly or bi-monthly) a transmission file is created and uploaded to the bank. Thorough testing is performed with each bank before approval is given by the bank to proceed with the Electronic Funds Transfer process. Testing and approval have been established with Bank of Montreal, Scotia Bank, CIBC, Kenora District Credit Union, ATB Financial, and CUISA Credit Union.

The Premium Financing / Electronic Funds Transfer software is purchased as a separate module and requires software and licensing upgrades to activate.

The cost of the option is a one-time fee of $2000 plus applicable taxes.

Your brokerage would basically act as a Direct Bill Agency for your insured and the brokerage would pay the full net premium to the Insurer. Then, each month or periodically as arranged with the bank, you would upload a text file to your bank indicating the EFT information. The bank would then do the bank transfer to credit your bank account. The EFT report would include all the pertinent banking information that you would have entered into the system at the time of purchase / renewal.


Microsoft Office Integration:

Power Broker ultimately has the BEST Microsoft Office Integration than any other broker management system!

The Microsoft Outlook integration allows you to send an email directly from your customer or policy screen, thus saving it as a recorded note/abeyance on the client file.  When the customer replies, our integration allows you to save the received email in milliseconds.  It not only saves the email, but if you have any type of file attachment in the email, it will save that too.  Pictures, PDF's, Wave Files, anything!  Our drag and drop feature allows you to store it on the fly which is a huge advantage if you have dual monitors.  Our Microsoft Word integration is a huge time saver allowing you to store multiple templates that import customer/policy data into the letter automatically.  If you need to export your accounting or reports to Microsoft Excel, Power Broker can do that too.
